RefClinic is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate, train and support football officials in NCAA rules and mechanics. We are governed by a five-member board and supported by various committees of volunteers.
Jeff Shears
Jeffrey has over 20 years of high school and college officiating experience and has a degree in Education Administration and Supervision.
Tim Hedgepeth
Vice Chairman
Tim is a Referee in the Atlantic Coast Conference. He has been officiating football since 2009. Prior to joining the ACC, Tim officiated in the American Conference. He officiated FCS football in the MEAC and CIP. He officiated Division II football in the CIAA, SIAC, and SAC.
Ken Hall
Treasurer
Ken is currently a Replay Communicator in the National Football League and has been officiating high school and college since 2006. Prior to joining the NFL, he worked both on the field and in replay with the CIAA, CIP, Big South and the ACC.
Jeff Pruitt
Secretary
Jeff worked as NCAA College Official for 22 seasons in the American, the Coastal/Ivy/Patriot, and the South Atlantic Conference.
Homar Ramirez
Board Member
Homar is a Referee and Deep Wing official in the South Atlantic Conference. He has been officiating football since 2013. Prior to becoming an official, Homar was a high school head football coach.
Brian Westneat
Board Member
Brian is currently an official in the Coastal/Ivy/Patriot (CIP) conferences.
Chad Holzshu
Marketing & Communications
Chad is currently a Back Judge in the Coastal/Ivy/Patriot (CIP) and has been officiating high school and college football since 2007. Prior to joining the CIP, Chad worked in the MEAC, SIAC, South Atlantic Conference and the ODAC. He is also a replay field communicator for the NFL (Carolina Panthers).
