We are pleased to offer limited spots by position for officials to attend our Friday classroom session for $300. This cost includes:

  • Attendance to all group sessions, including the supervisor’s panel and keynote speaker/s
  • Participation in breakout sessions by position, based on which classroom option you select
  • All Friday hospitality (meals, snacks, beverages)
  • The same RefClinic gear provided to on-field attendees

On Field Overview:

The Ref Clinic On-Field Experience will be held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Concord, North Carolina.

  • Replay 101 – Learning the philosophy of replay
  • Communication – Learning the language of replay (how to communicate in the booth and with the field)
  • Booth Mechanics – Creating a rhythm with cadence / Pre-Snap routine
  • Game Simulation with 1 on 1 coaching

HOW TO REGISTER:

  • Go to the “Shop” page on our website.
  • Select a position from the options shown (R, C, U, H/L, F/S, B & Replay).
  • If available, your selection will be added to the cart. If your position is sold out, you will have the option to be notified if a spot becomes available. Please use this option if you would like to be on a waiting list.
  • Proceed to the cart to complete your payment.
  • Once your order has been processed you will receive an email and a receipt.
  • The number of available spots by position are:
    • Referee: 12 attendees
    • Center Judge: 12 Attendees
    • Umpire: 12 Attendees
    • Line of Scrimmage: 24 Attendees
    • Deep Wings (F/S): 24 Attendees
    • Back Judge: 12 Attendees
    • Replay: 10 Attendees
  • COST: The cost to attend the clinic is $575 for all attendees. This cost includes:
    • Access to all classroom activities on Friday and Saturday (Replay only)
    • Access to and participation in an on-field scrimmage (on-field positions – subject to weather and team activity)
    • One-on-one feedback from clinicians during (and after) the scrimmage (on-field positions)
    • Drinks/snacks as well as buffet lunch on Friday and a box lunch on Saturday. (Dinner and socializing on Friday night will be pay-on-your-own).
    • CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation requests received prior to 5:00PM EST on March 7, 2025 are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellation requests received after 5:00PM EST on March 7, 2025 are not eligible for a refund.
  • HOTEL: Hotel costs are not included in the clinic fee. We are finalizing negotiated rates with our hotel partners and will publish a link to make a reservation in the coming weeks.
  • TRANSPORTATION: Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to the clinic and to the schools hosting the scrimmages on Saturday. Carpooling amongst attendees is recommended. Our intent is to select schools within a one hour drive of the Charlotte Motor Speedway – we will update the attendees once we have finalized the scrimmage locations and start times.
  • ELIGIBILTY: This clinic is open to all existing high school officials who aspire to become an NCAA official as well as to existing NCAA officials who want to improve. Our goal is to teach NCAA football rules, mechanics and philosophies to officials at all levels.

Replay Overview

The replay portion of our camp will be geared toward the development of replay officials. We will have a 2-day classroom teaching basic replay booth mechanics along with 1 on 1 coaching.  Our target audience is High School officials as well as NCAA officials on the field interested in making the transition to replay. Our topics will include:

  • Replay 101 – Learning the philosophy of replay
  • Communication – Learning the language of replay (how to communicate in the booth and with the field)
  • Booth Mechanics – Creating a rhythm with cadence / Pre-Snap routine
  • Game Simulation with 1 on 1 coaching
